Due to the COVID-19/Coronavirus, American Job Centers in New Haven, Meriden & Middletown will be closed to the public March 18 – April 3. We plan to re-open Monday, April 6.

The public calendar will resume the week of April 6, unless closures are extended.

WHAT ELSE CAN BE DONE ONLINE?

 

Hospitality Careers, Skill Up , ITXpressNext Steps for Ex-Offenders, and the Health Careers Advancement Project have suspended information sessions. But, you can still visit each program page to find Staff Contact information and to complete the Skill Up application. Staff will be checking email and voice mail regularly.

 

Jobs First Employment Services program services including “Steps to Success” orientations are suspended. During the suspension, the Department of Social Services (DSS) will continue to issue cash payments for those who remain eligibleContact DSS at (855) 626-6632 or visit www.connect.ct.gov with questions regarding cash assistance benefits.
