The Dual Enrollment/College Career Pathways Program is an academic program that provides participating high school students the opportunity to take college credit courses at Gateway Community College (GCC). Approved West Haven High School courses can be taken for Connecticut Community College credit. Students can obtain college credit for this program by enrolling in one (1) of the following:

• taking a high school course taught by a GCC-approved teacher.

• taking a GCC class at GCC in the afternoon (extended day).

• taking a GCC class during the school day as dual enrollment for dual credit at both GCC and West Haven High School.

West Haven High School is currently working towards getting various classes approved, to be offered for GCC credit.

• Automotive Systems

• Culinary Arts 

   

• C.N.A. (Nursing) Experience

• WHHS 390 Elementary Algebra for GCC

• WHHS 392 Intermediate Algebra

Additional courses will be made available to West Haven High School students upon approval.
