Bailey Middle School's 895 students wrote Valentine's Day cards to honor our West Haven Veterans. Their cards were filled with heartfelt messages that honored our local heroes.
On Monday, February 12th, 2024, veterans Al Beck, Steve Carney, Mark Levine, David Ricci, Kevin Sullivan, and Howie Thomas came to Bailey to receive the cards on behalf of the West Haven VA Hospital. These heartwarming cards were given to our local veterans by members of the Bettering Bailey Club, and were also handed out to Bailey's veterans, Ofc. Roldan, Mr. Adams, Mr. Jackson, and Mrs. Brown.
Additionally, our veterans and Bettering Bailey students had a delicious breakfast donated to us from our local Dunkin Donuts on 528 Main Street.
