Erin Albren
About: I started teaching at Carrigan in 2000 but enjoy working at Bailey now (16 years). I used to teach ELA, reading, social studies, and science. However, Introduction to Journalism is my favorite subject to teach in middle school (teaches Grade 8).
Hobbies: Attending rock/heavy metal concerts, writing in my journal, photography, visiting friends/family, listening to music, watching documentaries/true crime shows, and hanging out at coffee shops/restaurants.
Fun Facts: I love cats and have one 13-year-old female kitty named Belle. Also, I used to play the electric bass guitar. In addition, my first career was not teaching. I once worked as a newspaper editor and reporter.
Dina Jones
About: I teach 8th grade social studies (U.S. History). I have taught 8th grade in West Haven for 26 years, the last 14 at Bailey.
Hobbies: I love to shop, watch my boys play baseball, and spend time with family and friends.
Fun Facts: I live in West Haven with my husband, Chris, and 2 sons, Tyler and Evan. I am a lifelong Westie and love finding ways to get involved in helping our community and teaching my students to do the same!
