At West Haven High School, Sarah Davey stands out as a dedicated captain of the softball team, playing first base with pride. Her most memorable moment came when she hit a crucial home run in the last regular season game last year, securing a playoff spot for her team. Beyond the diamond, Sarah is an academic powerhouse, maintaining a remarkable 4.8 cumulative GPA and ranking third in her class. When asked about her leadership journey, she shared, “I’ve learned to stand by my team and to keep working hard alongside them even when there are challenges.” With aspirations to major in Biology at Boston College and become a physical therapist, Sarah credits her two older sisters for instilling in her a love for the game and shaping her character.
