Today, Criminal Justice Cohort students had the privilege of hearing from Curtis Eller, Director of Community Outreach & Public Engagement for the CT Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection.
A retired police officer, Curtis now works alongside Commissioner Ronnell Higgins to strengthen public safety efforts across the state. He shared insights on the six divisions of DESPP, offering students a deeper understanding of the agency’s critical role in emergency response and law enforcement.

Last week at Pagels Math Night families had the opportunity to participate in 13 math stations where students solved math problems including addition, subtraction, multiplication, times, and graphing. Thank you to everyone who attended and to the Bailey & WHHS students who volunteered to run the stations!
Tickets are on sale tomorrow and Tuesday to watch Bailey 7th grade teachers take on Bailey 8th grade teachers this Thursday, March 20th! All proceeds from the game will go to the Bettering Bailey Club to support the students and staff of Bailey Middle School as well as the West Haven community.

Third grade teachers at Savin Rock participated in "Hearts Around the World," a challenge to receive a Valentine from all 50 states with a bonus of receiving one from out of the country. We are very grateful to everyone who sent Valentine's cards!
Mackrille held its 3rd grade multiplication fact bee today. Students had a great time competing against the clock and each other. Winners from today were: 1st Place - Jacob Harilall, 2nd Place - Nisa Surac, 3rd Place - Gabriel Gamarra. Congratulations to all who participated!

Bailey softball and baseball tryouts will be held April 1, April 2, and April 3 from 2:30 - 4:15pm each day. All athletic forms and physicals must be submitted on Final Forms to be eligible to try out. For more information, please contact your sport's coach directly.
