Carrigan Intermediate School Hosts 5th and 6th Grade Art Show 🎨✨
On April 8th, Carrigan Intermediate School showcased the creativity and talent of its 5th and 6th-grade students at an exciting art show. The exhibition featured a diverse array of artwork, including stunning animal portraits , imaginative popsicle stick pop-ups, vibrant paper spheres, custom-designed sneakers, and intricate yarn art .

Our Italian classes recently had a wonderful trip to Durante's Pasta shop, where owner Angelo Durante shared his expertise on the art of pasta making with a live demonstration. Students enjoyed his delicious stuffed shells and received a sample of his handmade pasta!
Next, we visited Cappetta's Deli, where Donato Cappetta and his team treated us to a variety of delectable pizzas.

Today, Criminal Justice Cohort students had the privilege of hearing from Curtis Eller, Director of Community Outreach & Public Engagement for the CT Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection.
A retired police officer, Curtis now works alongside Commissioner Ronnell Higgins to strengthen public safety efforts across the state. He shared insights on the six divisions of DESPP, offering students a deeper understanding of the agency’s critical role in emergency response and law enforcement.

Last week at Pagels Math Night families had the opportunity to participate in 13 math stations where students solved math problems including addition, subtraction, multiplication, times, and graphing. Thank you to everyone who attended and to the Bailey & WHHS students who volunteered to run the stations!
Tickets are on sale tomorrow and Tuesday to watch Bailey 7th grade teachers take on Bailey 8th grade teachers this Thursday, March 20th! All proceeds from the game will go to the Bettering Bailey Club to support the students and staff of Bailey Middle School as well as the West Haven community.
