This is a conference where over 30-40 different schools from all over Connecticut bring students of various backgrounds and ages to meet and hear from a panel of men and other students of color that are in leadership roles throughout the state. The Leadership roles ranged from the 1st Hispanic Fire Chief of New Britain, to one of the Executive producers from ESPN! Several of our students were able to make positive connections and began “networking” with a few of the panelists who presented. All of the young men were inspired and encouraged to "stay focused”, “stay present and locked in" and "always strive to do and be their best!"

Reminder: There will be NO SCHOOL for students tomorrow, November 5th, for Election Day. Teachers and staff will be in for a professional development day, preparing for more great learning ahead! Students, enjoy the day off!
